Internet2 DCN Software Suite installation

The Internet2 Dynamic Circuit Network (DCN) is a revolutionary, optical circuit network that provides dedicated bandwidth for the most demanding applications. Currently under development, the Internet2 DCN uses community-developed, standards-based technologies and protocols to provide on-demand, dedicated optical paths between endpoints. Internet2's DCN is built on technology developed in collaboration with the Department of Energy's ESnet, GÉANT and other leading R&E network organizations.

The Internet2 DCN Software Suite ( including the DRAGON NARB, DRAGON VLSR, and the IDC -- aka OSCARS) is integrated into a single package that conforms to some selected set of standards (including DICE control plane, OGF, UNI, ENNI, GMPLS, GLIF). The DCN software suite is open [BSD license] and release managed by Internet2 in collaboration with a larger working group formed to support and develop DCN.
